É1 Model Jero Yang Takes Center Stage in Top Model Europe Finals
In a world where dreams can often feel unattainable, Jero YANG, a model from Taiwan, has reached the finals of the Top Model Europe competition. The Grand Final in Paris on October 6 represents the culmination of a deeply personal journey defined by resilience, ambition, and unwavering determination.
Jero’s story is far from ordinary. Growing up in an orphanage, he faced many uncertainties. Yet, he found hope in the pages of fashion magazines, which opened his eyes to a future beyond his immediate world. “As a child, I saw beauty and confidence in those glossy pages, and it made me dream of something greater,” he recalls.
After leaving the orphanage at age 20, Jero hustled between jobs and studies to pursue his dream of becoming a model, all without the safety net that many have. Every opportunity he seized, from runways to campaigns, TV shows, and music videos, brought him closer to his goal.
Now, among a select few from over 25,000 applicants, Jero stands in the finals of Top Model Europe, showing that dreams don’t have expiration dates. “People think certain dreams have a timeline, but every setback and challenge was just part of my story,” he reflects.
The competition has launched the careers of models for global fashion houses like Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, and Louis Vuitton. Jero now stands at the edge of that world, representing Taiwan and all those who, like him, have overcome adversity to chase their dreams.
As the competition draws near, Jero calls for support from the media and fashion community, hoping his story inspires others to keep believing, no matter what challenges life presents.
